Draconian is a Swedish gothic doom metal band formed in 1994, known for their melancholic atmosphere combining heavy doom riffs with ethereal female vocals and harsh male growls. They are considered pioneers of the beauty-and-beast vocal style in doom metal, releasing several acclaimed albums including 'Where Lovers Mourn' and 'Sovran'.
