Hypocrisy is a Swedish death metal band formed by Peter Tägtgren in 1991. Known for their blend of melodic death metal with industrial and atmospheric elements, they have released numerous acclaimed albums exploring themes of alien abduction, religion, and existentialism. The band is considered one of the pioneers of the Swedish death metal scene.
