Judas Priest formed in Birmingham in 1969 and became one of the most influential heavy metal bands of all time. Known for their twin lead guitar attack, Rob Halford's powerful vocals, and leather-and-studs image that defined metal aesthetics. They helped establish the heavy metal sound and are often called the 'Metal Gods'.
